Maintenance
Groundmaster stall flooring is virtually maintenance free. With standard rubber mats that are pieced together the urine seeps down through where the seams meet. The urine is then trapped under the mat because there is no air flow under the solid rubber mat. This can cause ammonia problems and is difficult to clean. You must remove the mats in order to get to the subsurface to clean; however, with Groundmaster stall flooring the subsurface has airflow and breaths because of the 1'' holes that are spread evenly every direction 1'' apart. The subsurface can be cleansed by simply removing your bedding so as to expose the stall flooring. Spray the floor with Tek-Trol , a biodegradable disinfectant . This drains down cleaning under the floor; therefore, the flooring doesn't have to be removed. This process is suggested every 4-6 weeks or as needed. It is a simple, inexpensive, and effective way to disinfect the sub-floor.
